Congress for Dummies (787 hits)

Yes, you bet it exists!! in the "Dummies" series book, this one is probably a good read, for the entire family. Knowledge is empowerment and now is the time for all "other" Americans,( you know the ones that were here when Amerigo Vespucci landed, not Columbus, and the ones whose labor built this nation, to step up and know how the country that impacts on their lives works!

Congress for Dummies
by David Silverberg, Dennis Hastert (Foreword by), Tom Daschle, Senator and also the Cabinet member responsible for ensuring that the Health Care Bill is passed, also has written a book.

Critical: What We Can Do About the Health-Care Crisis

by Daschle, Tom

I know it's boring, but we can get a leg up on the rest of these folks by becoming articulate on these issues. We all need good health care coverage, and we need to teach our children what it takes to work in the White House..I bet we never thought of that!!

Reading this with our families, helps everyone to learn the process, and puts our children ahead in social studies, Civics and history. The whole electoral process in and of itself is very complicated. As I learned in this past campaign , thanks to Barack Obama's goal of inclusivity.
